I compiled 2.1.3 myself and have been playing with a sqlite backend.
I have everything work as far as I can tell. I can create an account
with pidgin just fine, but when I try and login I get an
"authentication failure" message. I'm sure I'm typing the password
correctly (duh), because I see in the DB what's stored.
The weird thing is that Kopete seems to login and work just fine.
Somehome pidgin is having auth problems? Maybes it's a digest-md5
thing? No idea. I put jabberd in debug mode, but I still don't get
much information.
In the logs I see the client connect and then disconnect, but that's
all.
