Hi all,
I'm trying to put together a bibliographic export file for MHRA reference
format. So far I've been using a simple html export, and it's been working. I
do have one problem, though. MHRA, like Chicago/Turabian, requires that
multiple sources with the same author substitute two dashes for the name. So:
Author, Joe. How to Write a Bibliography. 2005....
---. The Problem with Citations: Code for a New You. 2009...
However, all I can get in the export file so far is:
Author, Joe. How to Write a Bibliography. 2005....
Author, Joe. The Problem with Citations: Code for a New You. 2009...
Which isn't suitable for my purposes. Is there a way to replace repeat author
names with dashes? My programming skills are very minimal and my google
searches for a solution have proved fruitless. Any help you can give would be
great.
