JabRef is a free-software, so contribution of everybody is appreciated. In fact, a few people from Brazil have already contributed to translate the graphic interface. You are welcome to provide translations for these strings, but you can also review and improve the already-translated strings. Do you know how to use Git? (so that you can commit yourself your changes). A further step would be to translate JabRef help and, to my knowledge, it has not been started yet. Maybe you could pool with some other Brazilian contributors to get this task done? Cheers.
