I've looked at the available configuration options for jabref-2.9.2 (no difference in 2.10.0) and do not find a way to specify keyboard shortcuts. I'm not a java coder, but am confident that there is a library that can easily be added to allow these.
Most of my writing is done in emacs so I use those short cuts (such as ctrl-d to delete the following character) in every application that allows me to define such shortcuts. It would be really helpful to have this capability added to JabRef. By trial-and-error I leared that I can use the CUA chords of ctrl-x, ctrl-c, and ctrl-v to cut, copy, and paste text. Why not allow us to use ctrl-a and ctrl-e to move the cursor to the head and tail of a line, as well as ctrl-d to delete the following character?
