TL;DNR;

We need more developers who can ok PRs, commit them.

Longer:

Due to increasing popularity of Kotlin (yay!), Jackson Kotlin module has
gotten ever increasing usage, interest, and as a result many new edge cases
have been uncovered, and new feature requests filed. This is great!

What is not great, unfortunately, is that there is the bottleneck in
getting these contributions processed. This is mainly due to combination of
the module owner/lead, Jayson M, having limited time to contribute; and my
lack of deeper knowledge of Kotlin (and module) to properly review changes
and evaluate suggested approaches. Typically this could be solved by others
with more time & expertise stepping up, but unfortunately while there are
devs that could and are wiling to help, we haven't yet figured out who
should have commit access beyond Jayson & myself.

I'd be more than happy to give access but would want to figure out ideally
2 or 3 developers who would collaboratively handle PRs, help with bug
reports. I do not mean that everything must be approved by all, but rather
that things would not fall to just a single person, and that there is
always possibility of getting feedback and different perspectives.

So: what would be great are:

(1) suggestions for how to go about finding maintainers, if anyone has good
ideas, and
(2) Nominations (including self-nominations) if you know someone -- may be
done here, or, privately by sending to `info` at fasterxml d ot com (or
`tatu` at fasterxml do t com)

-+ Tatu +-

ps. Ideally this would get done in time for 2.10 to get all the good fixes
in 2.10.0!
