Quick note: my plan has been to try to get Jackson 2.15.0 out during March of 2023 (this month). This may or may not happen, depending on how RC phase goes. But to have any chance, we need to start release candidates soon, so I am planning to stop adding new bigger features soon. This is just an advance notice to clean up in-process PRs and so on -- there is no strict code freeze or anything, just more consideration on adding things once we start RC phase.
If all went well, the earliest I could see RC1 would be over the next weekend (March 11th).
