I have a problem with print_byte_hex of print.jal. The 'hello world' program shows a counter in hexadecimal form, but it always shows '00' on the LCD when using print_byte_hex(lcd,counter). However when I use print_byte_dec(lcd,counter) it increments on the screen as expected. Looking at the source of print_byte_hex() I do not see a problem. Has anyone of you used print_byte_hex succesfully (if yes what am I doing wrong)?
