I downloaded and unzipped the compiler package, and saw that my wishes
were fullfilled (good with Christmas time!!)). I even like the naming:
date tells me more than version number.

[ Somewhat strange that the files mention 24 dec, while the filelist in
the jallib group says these are uploaded 23 dec. I doubt if anybody
will notice, let alone mind ;-) ]

I hope to remember this!

I don't think so. The 'pack' file contains everything the 'average' user
would need. Only the more exotic PICs are missing.

When I try to put myself in the position of a user: which package would
I choose (if not all)? This will probably depend on the description in
the download list. I think most users will be satisfied with the 'pack'
file, so we must make the description of that file the most attractive /
appealing for the simple / innocent user.

If we follow the direction 'release frequently' using a release date in
inte filename in stead of a version number might be more appropriate.
But is it important? ..... nooooooo.

Merry Christmas to everybody!

Regards, Rob.
