Uh, no it doesn't. Look at jal_main.c. It returns EXIT_SUCCESS if there are no
*errors*, EXIT_FAILURE otherwise. If EXIT_FAILURE is returned, all derived
files (asm/hex/cod/lst/log) are removed.
You're right, was a wrong observation of mine!
