Hi Joep

Did any of you use octal constants? I concider octal base an ancient

I never really used it, but when preparing Xwisp2 for Linux I had to
'decipher' constants in the C library which were specified in octal
notation (e.g. in termios.h). The tricky thing in C is that when a
constant has a leading zero it means the value is in octal notation,
which is easily forgotten when not working daily with octal.
ut it is a feature in JAL according to the guide:
0q... ; defines an octal constant
But I can't get it to work.
I just tried '0q77' and got indeed a compiler error, and a constant with
leading zero (like with C) is interpreted as a decimal value. Time to
inform Kyle!
Regards, Rob.
