Analysis of chipdef_jallib.jal shows that there are (currently!) not more
duplicates and no triplicates of device identifiers. The current
identifiers are 3 bytes long, thus have room for a 1 byte suffix (in a
generic const).
Proposal: add a hex digit 'a' to one of the members of a duplicate pair.
This leaves room in case triplicates appear (suffixes 'b', 'c', etc).
