I want to mention here in public that VOTI continues to sponsor us (me, you, all Jal users) with material to make it possible to test device files of new PICs (samples supplied by Microchip!). The latest contributions are a couple of PCB-09 boards to be able to mount TQFP packaged PICs (16F1937, 18f6xxx, etc.) on experiment boards. Very handy! See http://www.voti.nl/shop/catalog.html under 'PCBs'. Without these PCBs testing would be almost impossible for me.
Since the Pickit-2 software is apparently not updated anymore to support the newest PICs, VOTI also recently replaced a Pickit-2 by a Pickit-3!
