Thanks for the kind words...

PMP's way for implicit promotion is historical: In the ancient days,
the goal was to do an "easy Pascal" by downgrading the rules.
Some people also wanted to make things easier for small µC, but they
worked differently and JAL was born...
Now, there's a compiler option (default is off) that enforces a more
strict type checking - as standard Pascal.
