For those requesting a JALv2 version for ATmega and ATtiny (me included) there is a really nice alternative as a very similar language: avr-ada. http://arduino.ada-language.com/avr-ada-rpms-for-fedora-17-and-18.html It works very nice! Many thanks to the author!
