Hi Rob! It's true, there hasn't been a lot of activity lately. I usually only say something when I have something to say... ;-)
I'm more or less giving up self-employment and looking for a job somewhere. If I only work eight hours/five days a week and get money for it, I would have time to start what I'm planning for years... like refurbishing the format library. I also could have a try with the device files. I can't guarantee that now, and I don't want to discourage all the other volunteers by claiming that job in advance... I just wanted to say, even if I'm silent, I might be back some day. But since nobody appears to commit himself to help you with the maintenance of Jallib like for example generate new device files or improve existing libraries, I'm afraid you have no choice than release old material. When I look at the changelog since release 1.0 (almost two years ago) there are hardly contributions or improvements other than yours or mine. The list of issues is only growing. And I also didn't see any other reaction than mine on your announcement of 1.2beta. My conclusion: Jallib is all but dead and without reanimation I expect the funeral soon.
