This is normal behaviour.. a machine running httpd will bind to particular IP addresses but outgoing http client requests will use the default IP for the machine. Why would you want to change this behaviuour?
There's never an expectation that an HTTP client would also have an HTTP server, but for SMTP you can often expect (or maybe require) that the SMTP client has an SMTP server running. SMTP servers are required to be able to accept email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], and if an SMTP client sends a message with Received headers, then it's pretty clear this is coming from an SMTP client and I should be able to connect back to it.
