It's not that difficult a patch, assuming you're somewhat comfortable with
mailets (or just Java).  Look into RemoteDelivery.java, and I believe there
are methods that handle the failure conditions.  You can either have it send
the message to another processor in the event of delivery problems, or just
do nothing.  Probably rename it to MyCompanyRemoteDelivery, rebuild, and
there you go.
