I have a fully configured James server running, and I have set up sendmail on the same server to forward all system notices to 'root' through james (to a 'root' email account in James). It seems to be working fine. But, I have noticed that three days in a row now, James has mysteriously shut down with no exception stack trace or warning messages. I have also noticed that in each case, the last message logged by James has been from the SMTP agent recording a connection from sendmail at localhost:localdomain.
The server isn't in production yet, so it's not catching any other SMTP activity (i.e. from the internet).
Anyone seen this happen? Solutions?
Thanks,
Steve
