SmartTransport wouldn't have anything to do with it... it just reads the
MimeMessage and uses that... there must be something getting ignored in
the MailRepository or something like that.  Haven't tried to alter
content like that, so I haven't seen this.  Can you try delivering it to
alternate holding stores (error, POP3 mailbox) and see if it gets lost
(easier to test than waiting for remote delivery servlet), and then you
can hopefully identify what's causing the problem.
