The files we put on the site for download are prepackaged and should run
in place, so we hadn't thought to write up something on compiling.  If
you're interested in building JAMES from CVS, we're using ANT, which I
think most of the Java Apache and all of the Jakarta and XML (java)
projects are using.  Get it from the tools download on
jakarta.apache.org.  Once you get that installed, JAMES should be self
evident how to build.
