For those looking for such a thing, I've
checked out
http://www.theorem.com/java/Free.htm#FTPServer
and its pretty good.
Even has API for file get/put watching, so that you can
automatically process uploaded files and send a response. Nice.
As well as a simple password file and Radius support you can
also plug in your own auth class.
If you have download problems, it might be a filewall prob.
ZoneAlarm makes it a bit ill!
