My company is currently evaluating software that will allow a java
application to send faxes or send emails to a mail server which will then
send a fax.
I�ve read about james and one of the key phrases that got my attention was:
"mailet support: Apache James supports Mailet. This easy-to-write
easy-to-use pattern allow to build powerful mail system. Example can be a
mailet to send mails as fax or voice, filter mailets, translator, mailling
list, newspaper via mail etc."
are there any implementations on mailets that allows mails to be send as
fax? i�m willing to do it myself but our window of time is kind of scarce,
is it doable in 2-3 weeks max? Our only alternative is to buy a faxserver
with a mail interface but we�d rather use james if possible :)
anyway we�ve heard about jtapi (i know it�s not related to this list), what
vendors are supporting this?
