Unless anyone objects - or can think of a better approach - I will make
a new directory in cvs 'newavalon' which can hold its own bin, lib, src
and build.xml. That way we can port to Avalon3.0a3 over a few days
(hopefully not weeks!).
Code in newavalon should compile, but need not run until all the pieces
are ported.
Once we have a port we can transfer the revised code to the main bin,
lib, src directories. (Until the next release of Avalon)
