well in theory it is just going through the process because it is legal
now. Not sure if there is any other problems thou.

well I won't have anytime till at least end of november and it won't be my
highest priority. If you want I can you the rfc/link to sasl libraries and
you can do it ;)
The problem is that I made my modifications on an extremely modified
version of Avalon (what James is based upon) and these changes haven't made
it into CVS yet so it would be near impossible to do a straight integration;)
