This actually concerns how list.working-dogs.com works, but seems like it
might be doing an interesting trick we could add to James. I only
discovered this because I was installing some personal firewall software at
home and was using James for outgoing messages. It seems that
list.working-dogs.com tries to ping the IP address of the machine that
connected to it (or possibly the IP address of the original sender). I'm
not sure what the consequences are as it seems to still allow my message to
go through, but perhaps it sets some limitation on throughput based on this.
Does anybody know what exactly it's doing?
