And your answer just show how ignorant you are. Before making a judgment on a
complete culture, you should at least KNOW what you are talking about... Which is not
the case.

I am not pretenting to represent French Canadians, far from that actually. I don't
know why you assumed such a thing. I don't represent it, I talk about it because I
know what I'm talking about. Now, don't ASSUME that I'm saying I know everything
about this subject alright?

And again, it's not because YOU don't care about this subject that others won't.

You just answered. What the French Canadian thinks of themselves is
irrelevant. The perception of one's culture is in the eye of the
beholder.

I'm studying Japanese because I think Japan has an interesting and
unique culture, not because a japanese person told me that it's
interesting.

But it's interesting that you believe you can accurately represent the
French Canadian in their views, by answering questions such as why
they are protective of their roots. Have you done any polls or
surveys? Otherwise, It takes quite a character to volunteer yourself
to represent an entire culture! If there are aliens in space,
should you be the representative for French Canada and explain why
they're protective of their roots? But then, I doubt anyone would
care, except maybe you. :)
