Welcome. I also am somewhat new. But, this site seems to be very active. And, there is a log of good discussion about Nihon-go. You said your going to college - in Japan/Asia? I take it Japanese is part of your study? Tell us about your interest in Japanese. Other then that, it seems anything is OK for discussion. Ask questions or just jump into the discussion.
