How old is your daughter? I've been looking for stuff for kids as well, without much luck. Did I give you the link to http://www2.aznv.tv/default.aspx/en/ ? Most of the stuff is for adults, but in the anime section there is a show called Pretty Cure, it's popular in Japan among elementary school girls. It does have some evil fighting good sort of violence but of the sort that you would find on many American television shows.
Now that Disney is releasing a lot of the Ghibli movies on DVD, there is often the option to watch them in Japanese. You also might want to try and hunt down Kodomo Challenge videos, I haven't found a source for them online but they show up on Ebay now and again. Your daughter may enjoy http://web-japan.org/kidsweb/ My kids also like http://languageguide.org/nihongo/ by running your mouse over the page you can hear the audio of the word.
