Hi Daniel & all! I'm a newcomer as well, in that I had not been reading this
group, even though I had joined a while ago. I've been trying to study
Nihongo/Japanese on myown for a while now, off & on. Still tabun/maybe just a
beginner, finally got Hiragana & mostly Katakana learned (though stil needing
to reveew Katakana). I had started on Kanji & had the first 80 but then things
came up & I got distracted. I am hoping to get back to my studies/benkyo.

It is my dream to go to Japan someday. I plan to study & review the material
that I have already, including to try to finally finish a 26 lesson homestudy
course that used to be on PBS, TV. Then I hope to at least take a couple of
classes of Japanese in college that is about an hour & 20 minute drive from my
city. Then to continue in their sister-college in Japan. At least, that's my
"plan".

By the way, most just call me Bo. Hajimemashite! Bo desu, Dozo yoroshiku.

Bo
