Hi all.

Quick question about the plural.

Chinese, like Japanese has only one form of the noun for singular/plural
(although Chiense can add the suffix -men to make the plural
unambiguous).

However, Chinese has a word "ji" meaning "some" in English.
So "shu" = "book/books" and "ji ben shu" = "some books"

Is there anything similar in Japanese.
i.e. how would you say "I see some books", "I have some friends" etc.

Thanks!

David
