I observe 2 distinct forms existing for some common verbs,although they 
seem to mean the same - can someone explain whatthe purpose of each 
form is?

hajimeru/hajimaru
kimeru/kimaru
shimeru/shimaru
tomeru/tomaru
tsuzukeru/tsuzuku
ageru/agaru

Are the different forms in each case above,attributed to the same 
reason/usage?
