Thanks, that sounds like a really nice program, I suppose I could type it at 
the top level and it would regenerate any autoconf, automake, etc. files 
that needed regenerating, instead of rerunning all four programs?

Still, there is some problem with Japhar here; this problem occurred on a 
pristine install (first time compile from a new CVS dir).
