JASmine gets the job name from CUPS... So, it seems to be a CUPS issue.

Anyway, that is strange because with Linux, I sometimes get this problem 
but not often... In KDE, mostly, or with the command line : The Job name 
often is a generic text like the one you get.

But, maybe the BSD version of CUPS acts differently... Lets try 
something ;-) !

Create a dummy printer with the dummy backend (use 
then "jasmine:dummy://nada" as URI when adding it) then 
tail /var/log/syslog (I don't know the path on BSD, but I think you get 
it) and post here the results... Dummy should log the env vars the CUPS 
passes to JASmine-Backend, we may learn something ;-) !
