JASmine should be able to handle any other backend's output. Well, I have a stroung doubt that your printer/backend combination's output respects CUPS backends standards. Problem is whether to support non-standard output from a backend... This could be interesting to find a way to prevent your printer from outputing thse long comment strings through the USB backend... Or modify the regexp in JASmine-backend to handle them. I am not very fluent with regexp... Another fact is that as JASmine is not needed anymore by my company and I do not have time to work on it, developpement has stopped. I don't even have anymore production print server using it and I deleted my devel server months ago. Sorry for those who use my software... I can give support for the existing versions but I must admit that there will be no more releases.
