Hi , I am new to jasper reports and trying to add a subreport to a master report . When I have only static text in my subreport , I am able to view the subreport in the master report.
But when I try to use fields , variables in the subreport , I am unable to view the subreport in the master report. I am not using any datasource in the master or subreport . Data is passed via fields and parameters from the java program to the master report . How do I pass the same to the subreport to ensure that the subreport is working ? Can anybody post a few samples of subreports i.e passing the values(fields and parameters) from the master report to the subreport..
