I've looked at that; and this issue has been fixed in the 0.9.x CVS tree.
James fixed this by the time we released, but I used an older tarball
& missed this change... my bad.
Thanks for the detailed comments; we should be releasing 0.9.13 fairly
soon. This bug fix, and back porting one other feature are it for
changes.
