Hello!

Some months ago I submitted a bug (please refter to
http://bugs.apache.org/index/full/3674) I found in
JServConnection.getDateHeader()/setDateHeader() and
also posted message about to the group. I got a couple
of replies (thanx) Pier ;-)) saying that a bug in the
JDK is the real culprit.

I'm not really an expert so I just shut up and found
a workaround hoping that someone from the AJS team
may look at my submission (the bug's still open) and
perhaps see some sense in it. This however hasn't
happened.

Today the deaded pest sprung up all over again
in my error logs. So, _please_, can someone with
write access to the CVS look again at my report
and fix the code (it's as easy as it gets). The
applicable line numbers, based on the latest
snapshot are: 1238, 1246, 1254, 1568.

All the bugs in SimpleDateFormat constructor that had
appeared on the past (#4029994, #4106807) have been,
AFAIK, fixed. Thus the workaround for the latter
of them you can find in getDateHeader() should be now
obsolete.

If I'm missing something here, don't hesitate to
give me a proper dressing down ;-)

A big thanx to the whole team. You guys are doing
a really smashing job. My best regards.
