The java portion of Apache JServ is essentially just an application (without
a gui) with a main() method that takes arguments on the command line to
start up.

In the faq (and on the Apache JServ website), there is a link to Ari's
excellent installation document:

<http://java.apache.org/faq/fom-serve/cache/32.html>

In there is a script and clear documentation on how to do ApJServManul on.

The documentation is there, you just need to look for it. ;-) I'm trying my
best to make that process easier.

BTW, I'm working on an improved "script" that will handle graceful
shutdowns.
