Hello,
I'm running the following configuration, and is setting it up for servlet
support with JServ:
- Jserv 1.03b
- JSDK2.0
- Stronghold 2.4.1 (Apache 1.3.3)
- Solaris 7

I have configured and re-compiled Stronghold for DSO support.
I have been following the instructions at
http://www.servletcentral.com/1999-01/jserv.dchtml for configuring and
installing JServ as a DSO module.

Stronghold is in /usr/local/apache (default apache directory).
Running './configure' for JServ looks OK.
Running 'make' without errors.
Running 'make install' seems OK.

After this procedure the directories
/usr/local/jserv,
/usr/local/jserv/doc
/usr/local/jserv/lib is created
- as well as the file /usr/local/jserv/lib/Apache-JServ.jar

But the file 'mod_jserv.so' is not created/installed!
>From the instructions this file shall be installed in
/usr/local/apache/libexec/ but neither the directory nor the file is created
during the installation procedure. Since 'mod_jserv.so' is essential for
including the JServ module I'm quite desperate at the moment...:-(

There might be something wrong in my configuration/make files, but I'm not
in a possision to figure it out without any help - and I've not changed them
after downloading JServ.

Does any of you have a clue of what might be wrong?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Regards,
Bjarte Krger Engedal
