Here is a definite problem with JServ:  There are NO desriptive
error messages.  

Because of this, new users are flailing since they are not given
enough information to debug the problems they encounter.

I read and re-read the FAQ, made changes left and right, but 
did not see that this was the problem.

If you want to have less questions from newbies, give them
enough information to at least narrow down what is
wrong.
