I'm re-sending this because the mailing list filters prevented it from being
posted yesterday. I'm going to do a new release of 1.0b5 today. I don't see
any reason to not do it.

My V acatio n:

I'm finally taking a v acatio n with the 150+ PTO hours that I have saved up
and I'm going to Peru for 2 weeks so that I can climb to the top of Machu
Picchu, which has been a life long dream of mine. I leave this Sunday the
23rd (also happens to be the day before my 26th bday) and I will be back at
work again on the 7th of June. So, you all are saved from my "read the faq"
postings for a whole two weeks!

The Plan:

Lets release Apache JServ 1.0b5 tomorrow (5-20-1999) and then pending any
major show stoppers and bug fixes that come up, lets plan on releasing the
1.0 final on the 14th of June (the day before the first day of JavaOne). I
say the 14th because we will all be at JavaOne the next day. ;-)

If you are going to JavaOne, I will be there as well promoting Apache JServ.

Pier, Stefano, when do you guys get in to the bay area? I would love it if
you (and anybody else who is in the bay area) could come out to Clear Ink
that day and help do the release. Then, we can go out and get drunk
(ummm...I mean have some drinks) after the release. ;-)

The Talk:

>From the 30th of June - 1st of July, I will be in Austin Texas speaking at
the ZD Open Source Forum <http://www.zdstudios.com/opensource/sched.html>
promoting Apache JServ.
