I tried that but preferred a competitor called CodeWright which you can get
a demo of from http://www.premia.com
Both SlickEdit and CodeWright seem to come from an emacs lineage but
CodeWright is a much more finished product. i'm using it at work now for
SQL development and (at work anyway) have even stopped using my beloved
TextPad (a great shareware text editor for win32 that includes easy
integration with HTMLValidator and jdk compiling).
