I have seen the same problem:
I'm using Apache 1.3.6 and JServ1.0b5 on a CD ROM that will be distributed
in thousends of copies.
I have tested the cd on many different machiens, and it works great on most
machines. But I have a Win95 machine that have the same problem:
In mod_jserv.log the following shows up:
(EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host 127.0.0.1:8007
(EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
And since everything is run direcly from the cd, that works fine on the
other machines, it coldn't be a problem with the setup.
I use:
Apache 1.3.6
JServ 1.0b5
IBM jdk1.1.7
On the same machine that won't work with JServ1.0b5 I have run JServ1.0b3
successfully!
