I'm going to take a guess that you have some pieces of a previous
version of JServ still lurking around and that you are getting
conflicts due to this. Since JServ 1.0 Final was released yesterday,
I recommend you grab that and Apache 1.3.6, then do a fresh
installation of both.
I've been installing each new version of JServ for a number of months.
A few times I upgraded, but tried using my old *.conf and *.properties
files, which led to some strange problems. A fresh customization of
the *.conf and *.properties files that came with the new distribution
has always solved my problems.
