I just know it will be worth all the effort when I get this running ...
Solaris 2.6
Apache 1.3.1
Jserv 1.0b5
JSDK 2.0
JDK 1.2 (also tried 1.1.7)
Jserv is compiled into apache. It starts. But all requests result in
the following error(s):
[18/06/1999 12:07:34:823 CDT] Reading request data
[18/06/1999 12:12:17:718 CDT] AJP Protocol Error: java.io.IOException:
Malformed AJP request: error reading line length [id = ] [token1 = null]
[token2 = null]
[18/06/1999 12:12:17:755 CDT] Sending response headers.
[18/06/1999 12:12:17:759 CDT] Status: 400 Bad Request
[18/06/1999 12:12:17:762 CDT] Servlet-Error: Malformed data sent to
JServ
Since I have already tried switching JDK versions, I am thinking of
trying Apache 1.3.4 (or most recent). The docs say jserv should work
with any 1.2.x or 1.3.x; but most posting indicate folks are running
versions more recent than Apache 1.3.1
Has anyone else seen these messages? Any/all insight will be greatly
appreciated.
