what is the difference between
jserv.properties: log.file=/path/to/one/jserv.log
and
jserv.conf: ApJServLogFile=/path/to/another/jserv.log
in my case, they are different, but only the jserv.conf's log file is
logging anything, which is
[15/07/1999 10:49:56:426] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host
127.0.0.1:8007
[15/07/1999 10:49:56:428] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
[15/07/1999 10:49:56:428] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "ajpv11"
the faq says that sometimes has something to do with the availability
of jserv.log.
so: what is the difference between the two? do i want them to be the
same or different? i've tried both and that doesn't seem to be my
problem.
