I have been trying unsuccessfully to build the JServ DSO module on MacOSX
Server for a few days. After following some of the advice on the FAQ for
Linux users with pre-installed Apaches, swapping around some config.guess
and other files, and installing things like automake, I've got ./configure
running without errors (it even recognizes MacOSX as
"powerpc-apple-rhapsody5.5" or some such instead of the
powerpc-apple-unknown that I was getting before).
Now when I run "make" I get this:
>ar cru .libs/libjserv.a
>ar: no archive members specified
Has anyone run into this, or gotten jserv to work as a DSO on MacOSX? I'd
appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Joseph Delaney
