hi ppl -
v recently had a problem with a vm crashing @ work here. so i wrote a little
monitoring app for trying to determine what the problem was. it basically
logged the stats of the vm in a file every x seconds. i was thinking of
writing a more refined version of the utility, add notification via email,
etc and releasing it as open source.
so, some q's:
1. is there something like this out there already?
2. what kind of features would people like to see in it?
3. is there someone that i can talk to about making this part of JServ ( cuz
i like it so much)?
4. would anyone be interested in something like this?
