I think what he means is that you let Apache serve the pictures. From
your
servlet you print stuff like
out.println("In the summer of 84 we...");
out.println("<IMG SRC=\"http://www.host.ext/pics/summer84.jpg\">");
And you have the pictures in $apache/htdocs/pics
