I am running Apache 1.3.6 on Solaris with JServ
1.0
I would like to run JServ in manual mode (so I
don't have to bug my sys admin to kill the JVM everytime I make a change in
jserv.properties) First, though, I need to kill the existing JVM, which
was started by Apache. The problem is that everytime he kills the process,
another JVM process pops up, apparently automatically started up by
Apache. Unless we can get rid of this process, the only solution is to run
manually on a different port, but I don't want to do that. Does anybody
know how I can solve this problem?
